The Oneida County History Center will be closed to the public until April 1, 2020. The Board and Staff are following recommendations from local government agencies, the CDC and health authorities with the intention of eliminating risk of exposure to volunteers, members and visitors. The staff will maintain operations during the public closure and available by phone and email.
The History Center research library and exhibition gallery are closed to the general public. The History Center presentations on Saturdays, March 21, and March 28 will be rescheduled as soon as possible. Presentations scheduled in April will remain on the calendar until further notice. The 15th Annual OCHC Telethon on March 25th will be rescheduled.
Research requests will be accepted, reviewed, and handled when volunteer operations resume.
The public is encouraged to take advantage of the Center’s online book store with a wide variety of books, puzzles and more. Scheduling of future history events, tours and organizational meetings can be tentatively planned. The staff will be available to respond to inquiries as needed and as possible
