The National Park Service today announced the suspension of operations at Saratoga National Historical Park (NHP), effective Wednesday, March 18.
All facilities and buildings at the Battlefield Unit and Schuylerville Site are closed. The grounds are open sunrise to sunset and to be used at your own risk as there is no emergency staff on site.
The park is working with the NPS Office of Public Health, US Public Health Service, and state and local authorities to closely monitor the outbreak of respiratory illness caused by the novel coronavirus (COVID-19). A reopening date has not been determined at this time. The park will notify the public when they reopen and provide updates on their website and social media feeds.
