Following guidance from the White House, Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), and state and local public health authorities, Saratoga National Historical Park (NHP) is increasing recreational access.
Beginning July 1, 2020 Saratoga NHP will reopen access to the Battlefield Tour Road. Vehicles may drive the road from 9 am to 5 pm daily.
In addition all grounds are open sunrise to sunset for walking and the tour road is open sunrise to sunset for pedestrians and bicyclists
With public health in mind, the following facilities remain closed at this time:
• General Philip Schuyler House
• Saratoga Monument
• Neilson House
• Due to Visitor Center rehabilitation projects that were interrupted by the COVID-19 outbreak, the Visitor Center will remain closed until these projects are completed.
• No water is available in the park. Bring enough for your visit.
While these areas are accessible for visitors to enjoy, a return to full operations will continue to be phased and services may be limited. When recreating, the public should follow local area health orders, practice Leave No Trace principles, avoid crowding and avoid high-risk outdoor activities.
Details and updates on park operations will continue to be posted on the park’s website.
